Tim Pearce is a software engineer at BBC Research & Development. He is part of a team looking at ways to deliver future-facing audience applications which are immersive, interactive and highly personalised to all audience members, regardless of what devices they have at home, to help fulfil the BBC’s public service values. Tim is a passionate advocate for use of WebAssembly inside the BBC and represents the organisation within the W3C WebAssembly Community Group. Tim is interested in how WebAssembly can be used to create distributed software architectures, inside and outside of the web browser.
